In general, most knobs, faders, buttons that you see in plugins can be easily mapped to your keyboard's physical controls.

With Analog Lab you can just map the knobs and faders to your controller (if it has them). When I google controllers that are great for both these plug-ins The Arturia Minilab Mk2 has the best keybed of the 3, it comes with AnalogLab Lite if that interests you, and has the sturdiest construction of the three, but it has meh drum pads and has no in-built options like arpeggiators or chord modes. The Novation Launchkey Mini has the weakest keybed of the bunch, but if your goal is launching a lot of clips from Ableton it is the best option at the price point and it has a built in arpeggiator, chord mode and MIDI out. The Akai Mpk Mini Mk3 has the best drum pads of the 3, it has a screen, it has built in note repeat and arpeggiation and is the newest of the bunch, but it isn't too rugged. None of the 3 are bad, it just depends on what you prioritize. I've heard good things about the Komplete Kontrol line, but were are a bit out of my budget for a first MIDI keyboard. I was looking at the ~$100 pricepoint for a MIDI controller and I was between the Akai Mpk Mini Mk3, the Novation Launchkey Mini, and the Arturia MiniLab Mk2 with the intent of using Ableton as my DAW. I think cost is an important question and what size of device you want. I'm sure any Native Instruments Keyboard would work as well.

You can set and bind presets to the pads/buttons. My Arturia Minilab MkII works well enough for Kontakt (Player at least).
